Traffic shifted on Friendship Road
HALL COUNTY, Ga. -- Drivers traveling on Friendship Road in southern Hall County will experience a slight shift Tuesday.
Georgia Department of Transportation crews will divert cars to a temporary section of roadway between Williams and Dunbar roads. The shifting should be complete by 2 p.m.
The speed limit on Friendship Road is also lower than usual, due to workers completing road projects in the area.
"The speed limit on (Friendship Road) from I-985 to Spout Springs Road is now 35 miles per hour," GDOT district engineer Bayne Smith said in a release. "The speed limit was lowered because of the construction and frequent traffic shifts along this section."
Drivers are asked to slow down and use caution when traveling through the area.
