BEST SPOTS: Cheap Brews
ATLANTA – Whether it’s after a hard day of work or at the beginning of a long night of partying, everyone loves a cheap brew. Around Atlanta there are plenty of places to get a cold, cheap pilsner full-o-ale however, the Where U Live has compiled a list of the places we think you would like.
Put a quarter in the old jukebox and relax at the, refurbished, Ponce de Leon mainstay dive restaurant. The Local also offers cheap pitchers and amazing wings. The restaurant has fourteen beers on tap, including: Hoegaarden, Pabsts Blue Ribbon, Fat Tire and Loose Cannon. All beers are served in pint glasses, the cheapest being their PBR for $2.75; they, also, offer bottles of Miller Highlife for $2.50. The Local is located at 758 Ponce De Leon Avenue in Atlanta.
It has one of the better patios in the Atlanta area and it only holds about ten people. Popular Virginia Highland tavern, Moe’s and Joe’s offers the cheapest beer around.
