Tilted Kilts Opens in Buford,Ga

Tilted Kilts Opens in Buford,Ga

Tilted Kilts is a new Irish Pub located in Buford,Ga. I had the pleasure of going there yesterday to try the food and let me tell yah it was great! Their grand opening was held in March and when you walk in, its full of great spirits and lively entertainment. The space is filled with flat screen tv’s that give you that sports bar atmosphere. It was crowded ,so thats always a good sign. Two pretty hostesses sat me and my son at our table and their outfits were too cute. I normally wouldn’t take my son to an establishment like Tilted Kilts because the ladies uniforms were a bit risky but I was already there and didn’t feel like going to McDonald’s. Trust me, my son was smiling and the ladies loved him and made him feel welcome.

FOOD REVIEW: The Diner At Sugar Hill, Sugar Hill GA

FOOD REVIEW: The Diner At Sugar Hill, Sugar Hill GA

If I was to think of where a trendy, upscale diner would be my mind would probably gravitate more toward West Midtown or Virginia-Highlands rather than Sugar Hill (near Buford). What we did find was décor equally worthy of the tag “trendy” and friendliness that the South is known for.

We were greeted immediately and seated within 10 minutes (NOTE: we arrived on the tail end of the lunch rush for Sunday brunch. I expect longer waits normally). This brief moment of waiting gave us the opportunity to lust over the dessert display. We found out later that the cakes are made by the owners chef brother.

FOOD REVIEW: Gourmandises, Suwanee GA

FOOD REVIEW: Gourmandises, Suwanee GA

Snuggled discreetly at the end of strip mall in Suwanee (ITP folks, please GPS) is a wonderful French bistro known as Gourmandises.

As many Americans, we are unaccustomed to French cooking. I think primarily because of the lack of French restaurants in which we can experience this delight.
