(WXIA) -- The weekend will be dry, weather-wise, but with sunshine comes roadwork.

Georgia Department of Transportation crews will be on several roads throughout metro Atlanta. As always, drivers are asked to be cautious when traveling through work zones.

Look out for workers in these areas:

Cobb County
* Two southbound lanes of I-285 will be closed between Atlanta Road and South Cobb Drive from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for concrete slab replacement.
* Two Inner Loop lanes and one Outer Loop lane of I-285 will be closed between Paces Ferry Road and Cobb Parkway from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for sign installation.

DeKalb County
* Two northbound lanes of I-285 will be closed between Memorial Drive and Stone Mountain Freeway from 9 p.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Saturday for sign work.

Fulton County
* One northbound lane of I-75 will be closed between Howell Mill and Moores Mill roads from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for drainage work.
* One northbound lane of Ga. 400 will be closed between Sidney Marcus Boulevard and Lenox Road from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
* Two lanes in each direction of Ga. 400 will be closed at Northridge Road from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday for utility line relocation.

Rockdale County
* The westbound exit ramp from I-20 to Salem Road will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.

Rockdale/Newton counties
* Two westbound lanes of I-20 will be closed between Almon and Salem roads from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.

Weekend events that could impact traffic in the city of Atlanta include Music Midtown at Piedmont Park, the Garth Brooks concerts at Philips Arena and the Braves' series against the Mets at Turner Field.
